My 14 yr old daughter Maya Kaimana would love to take a paddle making workshop with you this fall. She is taking Hawaiian Language with Kumu Emma McGuire and Hawaiian Culture with Kumu Starr Johnson and has chosen to make a Hawaiian Paddle for her fall semester project. I have lived in Hawaii for 35 years and Lee & Will Kyselka are my hanai parents whom I lived with in Tantalus for ten years. I have great respect for the ocean and the ancient traditions and would be honored for you to teach my daughter. We live in Kane’ohe and can be reached at 285-5906.
